A: The purpose of the JROTC program is to develop leadership skills, citizenship, and personal responsibility among students. It aims to prepare cadets for future success, whether in military service or civilian life, by fostering values such as integrity, respect, and discipline.
• Goal: Develop strong leadership skills and a sense of discipline among all cadets by conducting regular leadership workshops, drill practices, and team-building exercises.
• Objective: Ensure that each cadet is equipped with the knowledge and confidence to lead by example, uphold standards, and take on greater responsibilities within the unit.
• Goal: Increase community involvement by organizing at least three service projects or volunteer activities each semester, aimed at positively impacting the local community.
• Objective: Foster a sense of civic duty and give cadets the opportunity to apply the values of the Coast Guard, such as service to others, in real-world settings.
• Goal: Promote academic achievement and physical fitness within the unit by implementing mentorship programs and physical training sessions designed to improve cadets’ performance both in and out of the classroom.
• Objective: Help cadets maintain high academic standards and meet or exceed physical fitness requirements, preparing them for future opportunities in military or civilian careers.
The JROTC Public Affairs Department promotes the unit and its activities by communicating key events, cadet achievements, and milestones to the school and community. We capture and share content from ceremonies, competitions, and other events, ensuring that the unit is always represented with professionalism and aligned with JROTC values.
However, we do not engage in personal disputes, post inappropriate content, issue unauthorized statements, or participate in political advocacy. Our focus remains on maintaining a positive and accurate representation of the unit at all times.
